How to Play Sega Genesis Games on Your Android Device using MD.emu Emulator App APK

Hmm... SEGA... One thing I remember about SEGA is the iconic Sonic The Hedgehog game. I am not sure whether I had played or not the SEGA game console when I was a child. But if you are a gaming entusiast, then SEGA is one of legend game console you must try before you dead :D. Because the limitless number of SEGA platform game consoles emulator app i found on the Playstore, so I just will share about the SEGA Genesis platform. Because SEGA Genesis or Master Drive is the most emulators i found on the Playstore.

There are so many game console actually that got title as "legend". Here is they are: Atari, Commodore, SEGA, etc. SEGA Genesis or Master Drive (MD) is a game console that gain it's top popularity on the beginning of ninetith. As I said, one of SEGA mascot is Sonic The Hedgehog serials. Even if you have not played Sonic The Hedhog games, you must know the cartoon or it's face isn't it :D. And there are some iconic titles that released on SEGA Genesis like Phantasy Star, Dragon Ball, Mortal Combat, Prince of Persia, Spiderman, etc. They have quite large game titles released as well. And we can play the SEGA Genesis old school games on our device such as Android smartphone, computer, etc, by using the SEGA Genesis emulator. For Android, my 'best SEGA Genesis games emulators' title is fell to... MD.emu by Robert Broglia.

To play the SEGA Genesis (Master Drive) games on our Android devices, the ROM game file must come from a .md or .smd format. Search on Google to learn how to dump your own SEGA Genesis games into that files. Or there is many websites that provide download for the ready-to-play Genesis ROM file.

Oh i also forgot, besides run SEGA genesis games on your Android devices, MD.emu is also run SEGA Master System (Mark III) games ROM. SEGA Master System is a game console one generation back before SEGA Genesis Release. The SEGA Master System ROM game file format is .sms.

The MD.emu APK is great SEGA Genesis emulator. You can change your suit settings to get best gaming experience. Whether you want play in landsacpe or portrait, add some effect to the graphic, save and load state as you like, cheats / gameshark support, multiplayer (i have not test it yet), to the external controller support. However when I used IPEGA PG-9021 as the bluetooth controller, I must choose or apply it first in the Key / Gamepad Input settings on the MD.emu APK setting before it can completely functioned.

How to Play SEGA Genesis games on your Android device using MD.emu emulator app APK

1. Install the MD.emu APK or SEGA Genesis emulator app.
2. Prepare the ROM game. Make sure you know where's folder you save the ROM game files.
3. Open the MD.emu app, and tap on "Load Games". Search where you save your SEGA Genesis ROM games and choose the game you want to play. Play it !
