Un-ECM for Droid APK Android Application

ECM is a special technique to compress CD image in order to get smaller size of the CD file. The point is to get smaller size of CD images, so we can save bandwith and space, whether is it for the webmaster or for the user. I start to know about ecm things when I was like playing PSX ROM's on emulators on my Android smartphone.

Maybe if you was get or ~~downloaded~~ (oops... you didn't see anything :v ) some PSX ROM's from some websites before, you ever got a PSX ROM but it had format .bin.ecm or .bin.iso after you extract it. Not to be worry, cause you are not making mistakes by downloading the wrong ROM files, but you must unecm it first. And if you only have an Android device, you can using an application called Un-ecm for Droid APK.

Un-ecm for Droid is an Android application to extract (unecm-ing) a .ecm file. For example if you have a PSX ROM with format .bin.ecm or .iso.ecm, you can unecm it directly on your Android device so we can get the real .bin or .iso files.

Steps how to extract (unecm-ing) a .ecm file on your Android device

For reminder, that Un-ecm for Droid is not a standalone app. But it is an app that you can use on "Open with" option when you are opening a file from a file manager.

Install the Un-ecm for Droid app.
Open your file manager (for example from ES File Explorer), search for ecm files which you want to unecm it, then choose (tap) it. Then will appear option to "Open as" or "Open with", and of course you must choose Un-ecm for Droid app. But some file managers will automatically redirect us to Un-ecm for Droid app too when we tap or choose the .ecm extension files.
Move to the Un-ecm interface, it will show you the time needed for unecm-ing the file maybe about 20 minutes or more (depend on file size), choose Yes. Wait untill the process is done, and your files is ready to be used.
