Why we should / need using ODEX ROM in our Android smartphone

  • ODEXing you ROM will bring more space in the internal memory. Because in ODEXed ROM, the system app Dalvik Cache will moved / remained to the system partition.
  • It's up to you, if you love mod your Android smartphones using Apktools, it's better keep your ROM in deODEXed state. Because in the ODEXed ROM we can not get the smali folder in the apk file.
  • If we just an casual user of Android smartphone (like me :D ) and have no intend in playing with apktool and modding the system, it's better for us to use the ODEXed ROM because it more stable.
  • For you who like gaming, then this guide is right for you. Because using a deODEXed ROM in your Android smartphones will eat more RAM and more or less will affecting the game performance.
