Final Fantasy IV - The After Years game for Android is sold on the Play Store for about +- $20 USD or Rp. 200.000 IDR
Gameplay, Final Fantasy IV - The After years bring mayor changes made on the adventure mode. Other than we play on the same one flow on the story, Final Fantasy IV - The After Years on Android is dividing each story parts into "10 Tales". Every tale have it's main characters. It means if we have finish a part (tales) of the story, then we must choose another one which will changed all of the party members. If we have completed all the tales, then it may unlock the final tale which is the conclusion of all tales.
There is also new battle feature in Final Fantasy IV - The After Years game on Android, it is "Band". It is a special and powerfull attack that involve one or more party member that had a "bond" between them. This cost much MP from the members thought, so it is must be used as efficient as possible.
"Lunar Phase" is also new. All the battles in Final Fantasy IV - The After Years is affected by The Moon phase. If it is new moon, phisycal attack will become stronger, if it's full moon, white magicks will more effective, and so on.
Other than above things, it is still keep the original like the prequel, except the appearance of the old characters in the prequel that have grown up of course. We will also see new characters and some of them is the son / daughter of the characters that appears in the prequel. If you love the Final Fantasy IV and never played this sequel before, then you must be love this game on Android too, as it will give use many surprises in the storyline.
Final Fantasy IV The After Years on Android, story
Final Fantasy IV - The After Years, take set on 17 years timeskip events after the final battle againts the ultimate boss, Zeromus.
Ceodore is the crown prince of Baron, the son of Baron king Cecil Harvey and queen Rosa Joanna Farrel. By his father will to make Ceodore a strong warrior, Ceodore then set to a test given to him to joint the Baron elite airfleet, the Red Wing. After he successfull finishing the test, something bizzare then happen. The Lunar moon that once missing, and now it came back, and monsters suddenly appears everywhere.
At the same time, Baron castle is raided by hordes of monsters. As a king of Baron and a paladin, King Cecil then joint the Baron troops to stop the monsters. But suddenly a misterious woman appears and challenge him. Unexpectedly, the woman is a summoner.
Saw something in ominously in the Baron castle sky, Ceodore then rush to the Baron castles and bring a name as "The last of the Red Wings" on his shoulders. In his journey to back to home, he later meet a mysterious man that help him survive from the monsters that assault him. And the two of them start the adventure to reach the Baron and seek what is happening...
Final Fantasy IV - The After Years cannot be played on device with ART runtime. So, if you play this game on your Android device which is running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and up, you seems likely will encounter problems or even it can not be played at all!
