Final Fantasy III Android Game Review

Well, in this very first my Android Game review, i had like to review my favorite games franchise, and it is Final Fantasy. For now, I will reviewing the Final Fantasy III game on Android platform. Final Fantasy III is the third series in the serialized of Final Fantasy games franchise, after the Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II of course (which also available on Android platform).

Final Fantasy III originally released by Square Enix (at the first, this vendor is named different) on the year of 1990 on the NES platform. And then it remade and remastered with 3D graphic on the computer in 2006, and on Playstation Portable (PSP) too. Continues the success on the previous remake, then the game is ported to the Android platform on 2012. You can get Final Fantasy III game on your Android smartphone / devices for about +- $20 USD or +- Rp. 200.000 IDR.

Well for myself that is a Final Fantasy game franchise entusiast, the game is so great. I was playing several Final Fantasy Games on another platform like Playstation 2 and Java Phones, but never played Final Fantasy III yet before. Overall, this game is great and worth for the amount of bucks you must spent above.

The Graphic is good, we can zoom in and zoom out in game to look for hidden clues and treasures by pinching in and out our Android device screen. Yeah because this game is ported from it's computer version anyway, so you can expect console quality graphics.

And the music and sounds? Pffttt... you must not asking the question about this, 'cause every game that made by Square Enix is have great, enjoyable musics, and effect and one more thing: killer soundtrack. Me myself is getting addicted to the soundtrack on the last battle againts the ultimate boss, Cloud of Darkness.

It has long hour gameplay too. If you are new too Final Fantasy game world, maybe you will spent more than 14 (day) x 4 hour (per day) = 56 hours to fully and perfectly complete it. Or you may need more time from that. Because there is many hidden treasures and secrets, such as secret weapons or hidden summoned beasts.

In game, player will walk and adventure on the world map or in a dungeon. After several steps taken, player will encounter enemies and must fight it with their weapon, magic, using items to help each other, or maybe just run like a mouse :v . You will start with one character, Luneth (player can change the names), but as the story progressing player will get more character for their battle party, and also given some help from non player character in some special events.

Before set to the journey, player can enter some city or village to buy items to help them in the advanture and battle, buy equipment and weapons, or taking rest in the inn by spending the gil (money) they got from defeating monsters in battle or from the treasure chests.

The most i like from this Final Fantasy III i played on Android, that there is so many jobs player can choose for their every characters and can swithching to another every time, and be sure to choose jobs that fit in your conditions and enemies you will encounter. There is more than 20 jobs for the player must unlock through the game story, of course with their each unique abilities. But if you stay loyal to one job, you may level up it and get more abilities and advantages from it.

Final Fantasy III Android game, story

The winds stop, the earth dried.. and so on :v . Final Fantasy III on Android will take you to the classic story about Light vs Darkness.

Luneth is an orphan, live and adopted by the village elder in a remote village. But suddenly when he walks on the jungle, he fell inside a cave from a hole that made by a sudden earthquake, and not so long after that, monsters suddenly appears everywhere. Feeling something is not right, then with the village elder permission, Luneth start his journey to find the answer of this all odd events.

As the journey advanced, he then meeth the other three orphans, Arc, Ingus, and Refia. Together, they set journey to different places and regions to find answer and maybe could stop the darkness that slowly fading the light from the world.

Final Fantasy IV Android Game Review

Final Fantasy IV is one of the best selling in Final Fantasy games franchise. Maybe because that, this game got a 3D remake and remastered which released on many platforms, including mobile Android and iOS.

Final Fantasy IV for Android is sold on the playstore for about +- $20 USD or +- Rp. 200.000 (may not actual).

Gameplay, As we expected from Square Enix's games, it always bring new things and features on it's games. As the successor of Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy IV introducing new battle system called ATB (Active Time Battle). It means time will always flows anytime. So if you are a slow ass in choosing command in battle, the enemy may take advantage from that and attack you first.

Maybe Final Fantasy IV is also which bring standard job system to every next Final Fantasy series. Every character is have it's own decided unique job and abilites. Oh there is also augment system, that allow player to transfer unique ability from one character to another character as he want.

On the journey, player will have different ally and party member changes from time to time. So maybe there is no word of primary party member in Final Fantasy IV. And there is a Gallery feature if you have advanced the adventure that used to look for the all monster bestiary, watch cutscene, and listening music soundtracks.

Graphic and Performance, the graphic is good, as i said it is a 3D remake from the old consoles. Me myself was playing Final Fantasy IV on the Gameboy Advance version. And played it on the Android smartphone / device version with the brand new 3D graphic, feel it like a different game.

But if you had play Final Fantasy III on Android before, you maybe will notice degradation on the graphic quality and smoothness. Maybe that because due to increasement of enemies number on battle. In Final Fantasy III Android, the enemies per battle maximum number is just 3 enemies. But in Final Fantasy IV, you will encounter up to 6 enemies per battle. That's make more challenging too.

Sound, this is the first Final Fantasy games on Android / mobile that ever using an actor voice dubbed in it's cutscene movie. The soundtrack and bgm is killer, as always like other Final Fantasy games. And the main soundtrack "Tsuki no Akari", ohh... it's just sticky in my head.

Final Fantasy IV on Android, story

Cecil was a Dark Knight, leader of Red Wing, the elite of airfleet army on a Baron Kingdom. But suddenly, the King of Baron who adopted him since he is a baby suddenly changed drastically in his personality. He then order Cecil to invade another kingdom just for to seek for crystals. Feel so much innocent bloods he spilled in his hand, Cecil then turn back from The King order. As for the dissapointed, later The King sent Cecil to a new task that even full of nonsense, to slay an Eidolons.

With his partner and his closest friend, Kain, the leader of Baron Dragoon army, then he sets to a new journey to seek of hopes and find "what and who" are he is.

"Theme of love", that is also the theme of the storyline. Kain loves Rosa, Rosa loves Cecil, and so on about the triangle love story :v .

Dissidia 012 Duodecim Final Fantasy PSP Game Review on Android

This is really the most different Final Fantasy game i have ever played. Dissidia Duodecim 012 Final Fantasy is an action game heavily filled with RPG elements, originally released on Playstation Portable (PSP) around 2011 year. I am played this game on my Android smartphone using psp emulator app.

This game released as the second installment of Dissidia games on PSP. The first installment of this game series on PSP is Dissidia Final Fantasy. Dissidia 012 Duodecim Final Fantasy PSP game bring more features, upgrades, new characters, and new storylines compared to previous installment. It even have a paid demo, Dissidia 012 Duodecim Prologus.

Dissidia 012 Duodecim Final Fantasy originally released for Playstation Portable (PSP). But we can play this amazing game by dump the game into a .iso ROM file, thus can be played using PSP emulator app / software on our smartphones and computers.

Gameplay, Dissidia 012 Duodecim Final Fantasy PSP game is really out of the box from other Final Fantasy games featured more than 24 character from all Final Fantasy realms. It collaborated the main characters and the boss characters from Final Fantasy first through Final Fantasy XIII. The game combined action, RPG, and fighting element with very well. In battle, player must face the enemy one-by-one in a battle map. There is also support character whose can help in the battle when summoned. The battle can also involve up to 5 character if it is a party battle.

The game mode itself is divided in many mode. There is story mode where the player can adventure through the DDFF rich story, arcade mode, battle mode, multiplayer (i'm never tried this yet on emulators), labyrinth, etc. Player can also visit shops and exchange their PP to unlock characters, costume, gallery content, etc.

Althought it is basically an action fighting game, but it is colored with RPG elements such as character levelling up and equipment selection like weapon, armor, etc.

Player can choose the battle mode, is it 'action style' or 'RPG style'. In action style, we will controll the character directly to attack, run, jump, dash, etc. But in RPG style, the character will act by choosing command on the screen (just like original Final Fantasy game). Maybe in RPG style is kind of remind me like battle on Final Fantasy XII.

Sound, well since Dissidia 012 Duodecim Final Fantasy PSP game is kind like 'Final Fantasy Gathering' game, we will hear music and bgm soundtracks from all Final Fantasy game start from Final Fantasy first to Final Fantasy XIII. There is also Gallery feature that unlocked when completed the main story which enable us to listen all game musics and watch all custscene movies. The original main soundtrack and bgm musics is also killer.

Performance, when i playing Dissidia 012 Duodecim Final Fantasy PSP game on my Android smartphone, the speed and fps i get is changes depend on the battle stages. Example the speed and fps is rising when the battle is likely at the map with minimal graphical effects, otherwise the speed and framerate is down when the battle map is have more graphical effects.

Best mode on emulators like PPSSPP application is 'Skip buffer effect (Non-buffered)', it will increase the speed and Frame Per Second, but reduce the effects thought.

Dissidia 012 Duodecim Final Fantasy PSP game, story

Cosmos, the Goddes of Harmony and Chaos, God of Discord is locked in an endless strugle between them. Each of them summoned mighty warriors from all realms of parallel world to battle on their side, light vs darkness.

The eternal battle between Cosmos and Chaos is never finished and it always repeated the cycle again and again. Know and just realizing this, the 6 main characters Lightning (FF XIII), Kain (FF IV), Vaan (FF XII), Tifa (FF VII), Laguna (FF VIII), and Yuna (FF X) start seeking way to stop the repeated cycles. Whenever they fought and defeated the manikins (enemies that a copy from the warriors), it is just make them reappears twice the numbers.

After the 6 warriors got an answer, then they mean to stop the gate where's the manikins appears. If they can destroy the gate, maybe they will have some hopes to stop this endless battles between the Cosmos warriors and the manikins thought it can killed themselves and they never reappear again, so the other warriors that survive can have a chance to defeat Chaos. They just fought for one goal, that is so they can back to where they should belong to, a place which they called as 'Home'.

Final Fantasy - The 4 Heroes of Light is an RPG game made by Square Enix and originally released on the Nintendo DS on 2011. I'm playing this game on my Android smartphone using emulator application.

Final Fantasy IV The 4 Heroes of Light originally released on Nintendo Dual Screen (DS) / NDS. But we can play on other platform like Android device or computer by using emulator application / software by dump the game into a .nds ROM file.

Gameplay, the general of Final Fantasy games. We walk on the world map or dungeon map, then after several randomly steps enemies will assault us. Then we will enter battle screen. Player must use all the potential attack and abilities such as magic as effective as possible

Inside city or village, player can rest inside Inn to recover HP. Buy more powerfull equipment and other usefull items on the shops. Oh and one that difference from other Final Fantasy game that each character can only bring limited number of item.

There is also numerous weapons and armors type. Every party member can freely choose their preffered weapons from sword, axe, harp, etc.

Performance, Final Fantasy The 4 Heroes of Light is playable on my Android smartphone and it has decent speed. However the speed and fps is dropped when i activate the '3D high resolution rendering', but it can increase the graphic quality thought.

Sound, the music and bgm soundtack is enjoyable in my ears, as always like other Final Fantasy games.

The party is start only with the main character. But we will get more party member as the story progress.

Final Fantasy The 4 Heroes of Light Nintendo DS game, story

MC (you can change all the character name) is just grown up to an adult today. Every man that an already adult in the village must offer himself a service to the King to honor the King. Unexpectedly, the MC first task is not an easy one, it is to save the Princess (the King daughter) from an evil witch. But the MC is not a coward one, he is a son from a warrior that have gone long time ago.

The MC then straight to the evil witch mansion behind the dark cave that lies north of the village. In the middle of his journey, then he meet a man that later became his partner. And so on, two of them stronged their will to save the Princess from the hand of the evil witch.

Final Fantasy XII - Revenant Wings is game released on Nintendo DS (NDS) game. The game still enriched by strategy and RPG element like it was on the original Final Fantasy XII title on Playstation 2, but of course it have different gameplay and story. This game has been played by me on my Android smartphone using emulator application.

Final Fantasy XII - Revenant Wings is game originally released exclusive on Nintendo DS platform. But we can play it on other devices too such as Android and computer by dumping the game into a .nds ROM file thus can be played using NDS emulator applications or softwares.

Gameplay, if you have played Final Fantasy XII on Playstation 2, then you may will familiar with all the characters. This game is a strategy with RPG elements of course (a must element on every Final Fantasy game), where player with his battle party must engage against group of enemies using all their basic and special ability such as magicks in a battle map.

There are differents unit type and each of them is having it's advantages and disadvantages. Example for Vaan who is a 'melee' type, he will take advantage on enemies with range type units, but weak againts air type unit.

Outside the battle, player can interract with other characters to get better know about the events recently happen, read logs, combine materials into equipments, or selecting the proper equipment for each character in order to be prepared for the next battle.

Sound, Final Fantasy XII - Revenant Wings NDS game is also reuse the musics and bgm's from the original Final Fantasy XII. It pretty good and still familiar in my ear though I played it on Playstation 2 more than 10 years ago :D .

Performance, the game is have pretty good speed on my Android smartphone. But the speed will drop when i activate the "3d high resolution rendering" setting.

Final Fantasy XII - Revenant Wings NDS game, story

Vaan whose now a 'Sky Pirate' is hunting for treasures in the ancient ruins with his best friend Penelo, Balthrier, and Fran. But he doesn't notice that treasure he just took is just bring disaster to other race live in the sky continent.

After he get back to the city, then he saw a big ships, coming down to the town, big ships he never saw such like that before. Filled with curiousity and his entusiast to the "sky" things, later he with his friend carelessly sneak into that ships which he even doesn't know who or what inside, and it just make Vaan and his friends sail in the sky with no where to go.
